Responsibilities o Working across the hardware and mechanical engineering groups to identify and document power requirements for tester platforms. o Designing front end AC power distribution systems including schematic generation, and component selection. o Sizing of electrical components, wires, bus bars, breakers, fuses, etc. o Selecting stock DC power supplies as well as working directly with power supply vendors to specify and manage custom designs. o DC control system design, including EMO loops, and tester system control logic. o Work with the compliance team to ensure compliance to all appropriate safety regulations and standards. o Assist with the creation of Technical Construction Files (TCF). Basic Qualifications & Skills o Results oriented and proven ability to work with all engineering disciplines and marketing/sales to drive power needs to closure. o Needs to possess outstanding English communication ability (written, verbal, & presentation), team skills, and show a history of driving & closing actions. o Knowledge of Domestic and International Electrical Safety and EMC Standards/Regulations such as SEMI (S2), National Electrical Code (NFPA 70), and European Standards (EN61010, EN60204, EN61326). o Working knowledge of ATE (or highly integrated electrical equipment) is a plus. o Cable harness design experience a+. o Strong basic computer and lab equipment and report writing skills. o Experience with safety equipment and processes around potentially live AC circuits. Education o BS required, BSEE/BSME or equivalent - MSEE/MSME
preferred. Physics degree would work really well. o
Experience:
5+-10
years power systems design experience.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
